Our Kitchen Process

From the moment you walk in the door to your final walkthrough, here's exactly how a Kitchen Krafters kitchen gets built.

How long does a Kitchen Krafters kitchen remodel take?

A typical Kitchen Krafters kitchen takes 8 to 12 weeks from design approval to final walkthrough. Cabinet lead times drive most of the timeline (4–8 weeks for semi-custom, 8–12+ weeks for fully custom). Cabinet installation itself takes most of a week; countertops are templated about a week after cabinets are in, with installation 5–10 working days later.

— Heather greets you

When you call or walk into our Lafayette Boulevard showroom, Heather (our receptionist and design assistant) gathers the basics: what room, what scope, what style direction if you have one, what budget range you're working with. She then connects you with the designer who's the best fit for your project.

What we coordinate for you (but don't do ourselves)

We design, supply, and install cabinetry, countertops, and hardware. For plumbing, electrical, tile, drywall, flooring, painting, and wall removal, we coordinate with trusted local trades we've worked with for years. About 80% of our clients use the trades we recommend.

What happens if something needs attention after install

Every Kitchen Krafters installation is backed by our one-year workmanship warranty, and we coordinate manufacturer warranties on your behalf. If anything needs attention — a touch-up, a replacement door, a hinge — you call us. Not a 1-800 number, not a different contractor. Us.
