How a commercial project works
1. Tell us about the project. Submit a brief or call us with the basics — space type, square footage, finish expectations, timeline, and the other trades involved.
2. Site visit and design. Your designer visits the site, takes real measurements, and develops a layout and cabinet plan. We render it in 3D for sign-off.
3. Quote and schedule. You get an itemized quote with brand options, lead times, and install scheduling that fits your overall build timeline.
4. Delivery and install. Our in-house team handles delivery and install, coordinating with the other trades on site.
5. Walkthrough and warranty. Final walkthrough, punch-list completion, and ongoing warranty coordination — same standard as our residential work.

Does Kitchen Krafters do commercial cabinetry?
Yes. We design and install cabinetry for offices, break rooms, conference rooms, and reception areas across Fredericksburg and the surrounding region. We work with business owners, facilities managers, general contractors, and architects, typically as the cabinetry specialist within a larger build-out.
Do you take on full commercial general contracting projects?
No. We're the cabinetry specialist on commercial projects, working under your GC or directly with you on cabinetry-focused scopes.

It depends on durability needs and budget. We typically recommend KraftMaid, Schrock, or Waypoint for high-use spaces, and our more detailed lines for executive offices and reception areas.
How fast can you turn around a commercial project?
Lead times depend on the cabinet line, typically 4 to 12 weeks. Tell us your target completion date and we'll work backward.
Can we get pricing without a full site visit?
For a ballpark, yes. Send a floor plan, line preference, and finish direction and we'll get you in the right range. For a quote you can sign against, we'll need a site visit.
